The Fisk Lane Block Party is organized annually on July 4 to bring together family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate Independence Day. This tradition has been running for over 25 years.

Schedule

11am - 7pm: Road barriers up
1-4pm: Musical entertainment from South Bay Styles
2:30pm: Star Spangled Banner and Bike Parade
4pm - 5pm: Fisk Lane Idol karaoke competition
All day: water slide, bouncy houses, kids games, fun, celebration with family, friends, and neighbors

Details

Musical Entertainment: South Bay Style

“South Bay Style” is a Classic Rock Cover band made up of four seasoned musicians from the South Bay area: Palos Verdes, Torrance, Carson, and Redondo Beach. They all grew up in different rock bands listening to tunes from the Beach Boys, Beatles, Eagles, CCR and so many others. They’re going to rock Fisk Lane with some of your old favorites and make you come out and dance. All bands play directly off of their audience participation and enthusiasm, so come on over and party with South Bay Style!

Jaws Water Slide

Can you handle the splash from more than 20 feet in the air?

Bike Parade

Scooters, wagons, and other vehicles welcome. Prizes for best decorated bikes!

Fisk Lane Idol

Bring your karaoke skills for a Fisk Lane showdown. The winner takes home an engraved trophy!

Games and fun

Pinata, bean toss, ladder golf, basketball, and more. Prizes too!

Location

The block party is held on the 2500-2600 block of Fisk Lane in Redondo Beach, CA between Pruitt Dr. and Inglewood Ave.
